Are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

We are now looking for additional Trustees and are particularly interested in candidates with a legal background to complement the skills and expertise of our existing Board, but a legal background is by no means a pre requisite.

Trustees work on a voluntary basis and are not expected to contribute financially. A Board Meeting is held approximately every 6 weeks.

The responsibilities of a Trustee include: to agree and monitor Safe in Sussex's strategic direction and ensure it pursues its objectives in keeping with these strategic directions; ensure the organisation functions within the legal , charitable and financila requirements of a charitable organisation; ensure the financial stability of the organisation and the proper investment of funds in accordance with Safe in Sussex's stated aims and objectives and relevant legislation.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Trustee, please contact our Chair, Tracie Church for an application pack - email

We look forward to hearing from interested candidates
